Memories included the introduction of the new Elise, soon to be delivered into the hands of awaiting Lotus enthusiasts. The reaction of the WCLM entrants left no doubt that the new Lotus will be a success.

While the weather was early spring-like, it added drama to the festivities. The setting was breathtaking. Lake Tahoe's splendor with bands of blues contrasting against the rugged snow capped Sierras covered with pines and rocks craved by glaciers. Some 200 WCLM decended upon this setting with their brightly colored cars.

The Entrants enjoyed the comradery, their cars, the surrounding roads, the scenery, the food, the competition for a memorable 3 days of Lotus-heaven.
