bit of weight, it was now quiet, elegant grand touring machine.  The re-engineering was so well executed that few casual onlookers would realize what they were looking at or understand the extraordinary job Mike had done. 

As the sun swept further towards the ocean, the braap, thrum and roar of these four wheel individualists
signaled the end summer and the impending arrival of fall.  Many of the cars departing are rolling anachronisms representative of a day previous to the soap bar style prevalent today.  Character by the  British Pound, a bit of defiance and delight, engaging creatures all.  A perfect California day.
