GGLC/Club111 Autocross
June 23, 2007 - Marina Airport

The weather was perfect, a fall "Marina" day, 70's with sun and just enough of a breeze to keep it comfortable. Once again Larry B did a fantastic job of organizing the event and even arranged for a special lunch.

The course started with a very tight slalom that led into a big left sweeper and then a big straight. That led into a big sweeping 180 and then a right that merged into a slalom. A couple 180s and then a really long straight. The final leg of the course was a tight slalom and into the finish.

The big news was that this was the first event for the GGLC's own equipment. 400 brand new cones were put out and the event was stopped for the first cone to be hit on the 3rd run of the day!

The event wrapped up around 4:30 PM and within a very few minutes the cones were picked up and the area clear.
