This is just a reminder that on Saturday, December 15th at 7pm we will be having our annual Holiday Party, New Officer Initiation and White Elephant Gift Exchange at the Acorn Restaurant in Menlo Park. 
The Acorn is a Mediterranean restaurant located at :

You should plan to arrive by 7:00pm with the dinner seating to follow soon after. There are five entrees to choose from and the cost is $32/person. 
NOTE: RSVPs need to be received by November 30th, including the number in your party, your entree selections and total payment, to:

Entree choices (selections must accompany your RSVP)
1. Grilled chicken breast with fresh rosemary
2. Penne pasta with Greek sausage, sweet peppers, roasted garlic,  fresh tomatoes and olive oil
3. Smoked prawns with fettuccine in creamy garlic sauce
4. London Broil with fresh mushrooms & cabernet sauce
5. Calamari steak dipped in egg batter & sautéed with lemon,  butter & white wine 

All entrees include salad and dessert, and the price of $32 (per person) includes tax and gratuity. Beverages are extra.
  Don't forget that that proud, long-standing tradition of the White Elephant Gift Exchange will be carried out again at this year's Holiday Party. 
For the uninitiated, this is where you demonstrate the true meaning of the Holiday spirit by exchanging (wrapped) automotive-based gifts of dubious value with your fellow GGLC members. A convoluted process of  multiple exchanges then occurs so you never know what you are going to end up with. So go dig out that worn-out camshaft for the Borgward you had 12 years ago and join in the fun !
