one
end is threaded left-hand, and thus the bore brush will only fit on one
end. To prevent trying to fit the brush onto the LH-threaded end, I Loctited
the LH eyebolt (provided with the turnbuckle) into it's corresponding end,
which in turn also provided a handle that was a little bit longer and a
way to hang up my new tool.
Once
the Loctite had set it was simply a matter of threading the bore brush
into the other end of the turnbuckle & I was in business. Just to make
sure I had my bases covered I bought extra brushes ($1.99 ea. at Big 5
Sporting Goods) for the following calibers (dia.); .22, .270 and .38. Total
investment, with extra brushes, was $7.06 plus tax. A good tool and
a good deal.
