The National Automobile Museum (The Harrah Collection) has a “Wow!” factor you don’t often find in a museum. You’ll see more than 200 eye-popping cars with authentic street scenes and sounds. The facades bring displays to life; a hardware store here, a movie theatre there which accompany artifacts from each era.
Presented by Dietsch Werks, the WCLM banquet will begin with a cocktail reception where attendees can mingle with each other and enjoy the full bar while taking in the wonderful historical machinery on display. We will then have a sit-down plated dinner during which we will hand out awards for the autocross winners from earlier in the day. There will also be fun and games with prizes for the best "Lotus Stories".
After dinner the attendees will have more free time to explore the museum either by themselves or through docent guided tours of the exhibits. The attractions at the museum include Lotus 38 chassis #3 raced by Dan Gurney at the 1965 Indianapolis 500 and a gold plated version of the Irish Esprit (DeLorean DMC-12).
