The same part is used for both the headlight and ventilation systems. It's a brass cylinder about (memory) 5/16" in diameter and 1 3/4 inches long.

I'll know by Friday. I ordered one from a nearby Ford dealer. $22.27 list, 17.82 wholesale. Counter guy said he translates the part number to "YG 34 C6OZ 19A563A" -- I'll let y'all know.

Thanks for the feedback clarifying the number. I'd read the number off a rather scruffy package the last time I bought one. If the number your Ford counter guy gave you is the same (and it looks like it probably is) the part is a perfect clone of the OEM Lotus part that came in my '79 Eclat (2 valves) and '80 Esprit (1 valve).
